Make a Choice 选 择

Which socks do I want to wear today? Should I walk, ride the bus or take a taxi? What do I want for dinner? Should I study now or wait until after the TV show? These are everyday choices. We can't do or have everything, so we must choose between options.
今天穿哪双袜子呢？我该走路、坐公车还是搭出租车呢？晚餐吃什么呢？我该现在读书还是看完电视再读呢？这些是每天必须作的决定。我们无法做每件事也无法每样东西都要，所以我们必须从当中选择。

Many choices are simple. But sometimes it's not easy to decide. Choosing an option becomes more difficult when the decision is an important one. When making a choice that involves a lot of money, many people take their time. They investigate all the options so they will choose wisely. A choice between two or more options is called a selection.
许多选择是简单的，但是有时却不容易做决定。当遇到重要决定时，抉择就变得更难了。当所做的选择牵涉到很多钱的时候，许多人就慢慢来；他们详加考量所有的选择再做明智的决定。在两者或更多可选择的事物中作决定称为挑选。
